Product Development
Bringing your product's enclosure from concept to production using the right materials to achieve your company's goal of price and appearance.
ICS can help your company define its' requirements based on the products use. Using its’ expertise ICS will either create a look or use the appearance information provided by the customer. This information, in conjunction with the electrical information, will lead to preliminary renderings to be approved by the customer. The process of using 3D renderings helps to quicken the final decision of appearance and operation. Once these preliminary stages have been completed ICS can provide a prototype.
Prototyping
ICS can provide prototypes in sheetmetal, SLA, FDM, casting, and fabrication. The ICS prototype process will include as much production based parts as possible that also meet prototype review schedules. ICS will interact with the customers electrical engineering department or contractor to ensure the prototypes will accommodate the electronics regarding mounting, wire routing, cooling, and any other requirements necessary to ensure the electronics will operate properly. If needed, ICS can also source electronics and electrical engineering.
Peripheral Sourcing
ICS has many contacts in gaming and kiosk peripherals. Let ICS help you source the components needed to achieve your product performance requirements.Using ICS to source your components can help speed the development cycle. Provide ICS with the peripheral’s requirement and ICS will locate the peripheral and include it in the rendering to help the customer’s decision on using the specified peripheral. Once ICS has received final approval regarding use of the peripheral the peripheral can be acquired to include in the prototype. This increases the opportunity for the customer to receive a functioning prototype to use in making the final revisions prior to releasing the product for production.
Assembly, Testing, and Packaging
In some cases customers either do not have the capacity or the facilities to manufacture their desired product. ICS has many contacts in the contract-manufacturing field that can provide a turnkey solution including packaging design. These partners have expertise in supply chain management, assembly, and testing. ICS encourages the customer to visit the contract-manufacturing partners to see first hand the care and quality that will go into manufacturing their product. ICS partners will build, test, and ship to your final location with your logos on all packaging. This can allow even the smallest business to have that big business presentation.
